We transformed their newly-acquired office space into fictional ad agency, Gilbert & Thomas, transporting guests back to the 1960s. From reception to brainstorming room, bar to boardroom, guests interacted with our larger-than-life cast of colourful characters (the employees of this failing enterprise), getting involved in focus groups, castings and ‘thought showers’.
The not-so-mad men of G&T had one last chance to pitch for an account that could save them from bankruptcy, and press, property agents, social influencers, property developers and investors were all invited along to get their hands dirty.
The result? A highly entertaining evening of pitches, pearls and pandemonium, fueled by stiff martinis and free-flowing champagne, earning us a nomination for creative event of the year at the 017 event awards.
