Lynx Fragrance Re-launch
Picture this: Carousel’s Upstairs space reimagined as a luxury male grooming salon and cocktail bar, the ground floor restaurant fired-up to serve a bespoke dinner and the Downstairs lit only by starlight for a guestlist of fragrance, male grooming and lifestyle press. Pourquoi? Lynx were in the house promoting their new fragrance collection, but didn’t want to reveal their identity until the last minute. So it was up to Shuttlecock Inc to keep it subtle, stylish and drop fragrant hints throughout the evening.
Bowl food and canapés were presented on chunky maple boards and copper plates (taking inspiration from the new scents), and the 3-course supper followed suit, incorporating flavours matched to the collection. We’re talking ginger and kombu cured bream accompanied with pickled ginger and ponzu dipping sauce, a braised and smoked beef brisket and for dessert rhubarb marinated in vanilla, caramel and fennel ice cream.
All was finally revealed downstairs, when the gentle lighting rose until each plinth was individually lit up to reveal that the launch was for Lynx.
Product developers talked guests through the scents that were carefully selected, whilst waiters circulated with Lynx-inspired cocktails, including Dark Vanilla Martinis, Tobacco Old Fashioneds and Oudh Wood Smoked Teas.
